100th Annivers-aree Council-wide Camporee, Hibernia County Park, Oct. 25-27

Please join us for Chester County Council's 100th Anniversary Camporee at Hibernia County Park, October 25-27.  Activities will include fishing on the lake, trail bike riding, hiking, nature and conservation presentations, merit badge opportunities, and an evening arena show. Participants earn the Camporee portion of the Council's 100th Anniversary badge.

We need to register with the council as a troop, so please register below by Sept 11 so we can have an accurate headcount.  The registration cost with the council is $25-$30 per person, but Troop 181 will partly pay for the cost, so you will be responsible for only $10 registration per scout or adult if you register with us by Sept 11. (If you go past the deadline, your share of the registration fee will be $15.)   We will collect the fees later.

While there might be food trucks available at the park on Saturday, we should treat this as a troop camping trip.  We will need to bring tents, gear, trailer, and food for Saturday (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner) and Sunday morning (cold breakfast), as we normally would for a camping trip. Each scout should chip in $15 for groceries beforehand. Scouts should eat dinner Friday before the trip or pack something for the road. Tentatively, let's plan to meet 4:30 pm Friday at the church and leave promptly at 5 pm.

We will provide more details as we get closer to the event, but please register now so we can meet council deadline. Thank you.
