The end of the school year means that 13,000 "in need" students in Chester County face the uncertainty of a daily meal since school will be dismissed for the summer. The Chester County Food Bank is organizing an effort to help fill shelves of those in need with peanut butter and jelly, a food that is a good source of protein, vitamins, and minerals. It's easy for a child to make a sandwich, and pb&j is a classic favorite for many no matter the age. Troop 181 is supporting Chester County Food Bank by collecting peanut butter and jelly.

Please bring your donations (5 jars per scout is requested) to the troop meeting on May 31st.

* Purple Squid (Pilotti) - peanut butter

* Beta (Maier) - peanut butter

* Mustang (Shreve) - jelly

* Holy Hand Grenade (Feldman) - jelly

Please note - all containers must be plastic. No glass jars.
